Responsibilities

• Maintain written policies and procedures governing the operation of the facility.
• Maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position.
• Assist department directors in development and use of department policies and procedures and establish rapport between departments so each sees teamwork.
• Interpret policies to employees, residents, family members, visitors, and governmental agencies as necessary in accordance with board approved practice.
• Review the facility’s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and update to ensure current regulations compliance.
• Assure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the public follow established policies and procedures.
