Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Licensed Addiction Therapist for our inpatient facility. You will develop individualized treatment plans and provide individual, group, family and couples therapy to clients in a supportive, evidence-based program.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the treatment team and families to coordinate care. Must have valid licensure (LPC/LCSW/etc.) and commitment to recovery principles.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure/certification to practice (LPC/LCSW/PLPC/CIT/RAC/CSW) required.
• Minimum education and licensure must be current and in good standing.
• Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
• Conduct individual, group, family and couple therapy sessions.
• Manage clinical needs, services, and aftercare for your caseload.
• Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and relapse risk.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director, team and family for coordinated care.
• Model recovery principles with honesty, accountability, dignity and respect.
