Job summary

Arizona Behavioral Counseling & Education seeks counseling facilitators to conduct screenings, individual and group counseling, and education classes for program clients. You will complete intake sessions, write treatment plans, document interactions, and monitor progress under supervision.

Applicants must be 21+, hold CPR/First Aid current certifications, and meet Arizona behavioral health licensing or degree requirements.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old.
CPR and First Aid certification current (not older than 2 years).
License from AZ Board of Behavioral Health or relevant degree as listed.
Ability to screen or counsel clients with substance abuse, anger or domestic violence.
Complete 20 hours of annual trainings, including 8 hours on domestic violence.
Has DUI law/training knowledge; DV services require 6 months prior related experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct screenings, individual and group counseling sessions, and education classes.
Complete intake sessions, write treatment plans, document client contact, and monitor progress.
Write progress reports and discharge summaries, under supervision.
