Alternatives is hiring a Licensed Addiction Counselor for the Passages Alcohol and Drug Treatment Unit in Billings, MT. You will manage a caseload of clients, provide individual treatment and facilitate group sessions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Human Services and Montana licensure as an Addictions Counselor or eligibility; pass drug screening and background check; valid driver’s license. Training: orientation and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Must be Montana State Licensed Addictions Counselor or certified (or certifiable within one year).
• Must pass federal workplace drug screening and background check.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, providing individual treatment services and facilitating group counseling sessions.
• Conduct regular reviews of client files to identify assessment needs and make treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with pre-release centers and referral sources to ensure successful program completion and proper case closure.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and participate in meetings and professional activities.
