Job summary

Glory House in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a dedicated Licensed/Certified Addiction Counselor to provide direct clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, and both individual and group counseling. The ideal candidate embraces recovery, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices to support clients on their healing journey.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, counseling sessions (two evenings weekly), and collaboration with partners to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Must hold or be working toward LAC/CAC.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavioral Health Field.
• Experience with individuals impacted by substance use disorders; experience with criminal justice populations a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to ethical practice and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations for substance use disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions (two evenings per week).
• Provide education and support on addiction and recovery.
• Collaborate with community partners to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation per state and agency standards.
