Responsibilities

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services and the duties include, but are not limited to:

• Technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
• Meeting the communication needs of the patient and family
• Performing under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
• This is a clinic environment with a need of one to three shifts/week
• Supporting both inpatient and outpatient care

Qualifications

Education and Training:

• Current and valid Missouri state LPN license, required
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• One year experience in an Acute Care hospital or clinic setting, preferred
• Previous wound care experience, preferred
