This full-time role requires BLS, an active North Dakota LPN license, and the ability to perform IV medications and complex dressing changes while delivering compassionate care to residents.

As a Skilled Nursing LPN, you will be a vital member of the clinical team, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in a safe and efficient environment. This role offers the opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills–including IV medication administration and advanced dressing changes–while taking on a leadership role through the supervision of assigned staff. What you will be doing:
  • Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and treatments to assigned residents according to established nursing standards of practice.
  • Care Coordination: Actively monitor and update individualized resident care plans to reflect their current status and needs.
  • Clinical Skills: Utilize specialized skills to manage IV medications and perform complex dressing changes as required.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Directly supervise assigned employees, including planning, directing work, and fostering a positive environment for employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Participate in the supervisory lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, and addressing employee complaints or problems.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to all laws, regulations, and corporate policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of both residents and staff.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate and exchange information with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team in English, both orally and in writing.
What you must have:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Current LPN licensure for the state of practice is required.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Technical Skills: Must possess the ability and proficiency to perform IV medication administration and dressing changes.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 35 lbs and the physical stamina to move, position, and assess information throughout the shift.
Nice to have:
  • Clinical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with basic nursing skills and the therapeutic effects/side effects of administered medications.
  • Leadership Ability: Natural aptitude for supervising others, assigning work, and resolving problems within a team setting.
