An established industry player is offering a unique opportunity for a Library Technician in a dynamic, international environment. The Asian and Middle Eastern Division, Middle East & South Asia (MESA) Section, is offering an opportunity for a qualified individual at the GS-07 level (with one year time-in-grade) to serve on a full-time, 120-day detail without promotion as a Library technician in the ASME Division, MESA Section.
Responsibilities:
The library technician responsibilities include but are not limited to opening boxes, serials check-in, call number labeling, and end-stage processing of monographs from overseas offices in Cairo, Islamabad, Jakarta, and New Delhi. The candidate will be willing to work closely within a well-organized team and offer insights to improve productivity and workflows. The incumbent will report directly to the MESA Section Head and have robust opportunities to gain knowledge and experience working within a dynamic, international environment.

Eligibility: This opportunity is open LCSG permanent staff who have permission from their supervisor.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (flextime); telework is an option (2 days a week)
