Job summary

Notre Dame Parish School in Denver is seeking a Library Media Aide to support library operations, check books in out, and maintain circulation systems. The role reports to the principal and supports a safe, welcoming learning environment.

You will supervise students during technology enrichment activities using Lexia and other online platforms, assist teachers with materials and access to resources, and provide classroom coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College coursework or experience in education, library services, or child supervision preferred.
• Basic technology proficiency and willingness to learn educational software platforms.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Be a fully initiated Catholic in communion with the Catholic Church and living out the five precepts of the Church.
• Refrain from promotion or approval of any conduct contrary to Catholic doctrine or morals or that may cause scandal.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with checking books in and out of the library and maintaining library organization and circulation systems.
• Supervise students during independent educational technology enrichment time using programs such as Lexia and other online learning platforms.
• Support teachers and students in accessing educational materials and technology resources.
• Assist with maintaining a welcoming, organized, and safe library environment.
• May provide classroom supervision and substitute teaching support as assigned.
