Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; some college preferred.
• Experience in libraries or related roles is preferred.
• Comfort with web, email, and office software; social media experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate public programming including adult enrichment, author visits, concerts and community events.
• Book artists for gallery shows and manage setup, display and receptions.
• Engage local businesses and groups to sponsor events and partner with the library.
• Liaise with Friends of the Library to support programming efforts.
• Promote programs via print, social media, and press; assist with promo content.
• Schedule events using online tools; arrange room setups and logistics.
• Host programs with performers; handle equipment and registrations; ensure safety.
• Participate in professional development and other duties as assigned.
