Job summary

Responsibilities

• Sort, return, and shelve materials in adult, teen, and children’s circulation areas.
• Close the library: log off computers, tidy space, remind patrons of closing.
• Follow shelf-reading schedule to keep books neat and in order.
• Assist patrons in finding materials in the stacks.
• Retrieve items from storage and book drops.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff and the public.
