Job summary

As a part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt team member, you greet guests, assist with checkouts and self-service, keep spaces tidy, and promote programs. Expect evening and weekend shifts and growth through ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• MS Office proficiency preferred.
• Library or bookstore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ensure a great library experience.
• Help patrons locate books and use self-checkout services.
• Maintain clean, welcoming spaces and refresh displays as needed.
• Discuss promotions, programs and services with patrons to drive engagement.
• Recommend books, movies and music to patrons based on interests.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and daily operations.
