The Town of Little Elm seeks a part-time Library Assistant to support library operations and community initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist patrons, manage library materials, and contribute to programming in a vibrant, growing community. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the library's core values.
JOB SUMMARY
Little Elm Public Library serves Little Elm, and the surrounding Denton County communities. Library staff support operations for the main library in Town Hall and a 24-Hour Library kiosk at Fire Station #3 in north Little Elm.
Under supervision of the Circulation Supervisor, the PT Library Assistant performs all processes involved in the circulation of library materials to include check in and out of materials and maintenance of patron records. Additionally, the PT Library Assistant (20 hours) supports programming and performs outreach to support library and town initiatives. Performs all other support functions as needed.
