LaGrange College seeks a Library Assistant to support the Frank & Laura Lewis Library. Responsibilities include processing supplies, books, and equipment; maintaining vendor records; and assisting patrons with locating materials and using library resources.
The role requires an Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and 1 year of related experience, preferably in a library, museum, or archives, with strong organizational and customer service skills. Schedule includes Sunday–Thursday, 2pm–11pm.
The Library Assistant reports to the Director of the Frank & Laura Lewis Library. Primary responsibilities include acquiring, receiving and processing supplies, books, and equipment; and maintaining vendor and acquisition records. The selected candidate will work Sunday- Thursday, 2pm-11pm.
Associate’s degree or equivalent. 1 year related experience, preferably in a library, museum, or archives.
