Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an entry-level Library Aide for the Warr Acres Library. This part-time role focuses on processing and distributing library materials and offering basic customer assistance.

The position requires completion of 9th grade, availability for 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends, and the wage is $15.45 per hour. Location is Warr Acres, OK, with shifts Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and hours subject to change.

Qualifications

• One year of high school (9th grade) completed and minimum age 16.
• Basic knowledge of library operations, policies and procedures.
• Typing or keyboard skills to enter and retrieve data using a computer terminal.
• Filing alphabetically, numerically, using good spelling, and performing basic math computations.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with customers in order to give and extricate information politely.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Access Manager, the Library Aide ensures appropriate and efficient processing and distribution of Library materials.
• Provides basic customer assistance in the library setting.
• Selected candidate needs to be flexible working days, evenings and weekends approximately 20 hours a week.
• Hours: Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm; hours subject to change according to library needs.

This position will be assigned to the Warr Acres Library, which is located at 5901 NW 63rd St, Warr Acres, OK 73132

The hiring salary for this position is $15.45 hourly. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week and is not classified as a seasonal position. This position is not exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education and Experience:

• One year of High School (9th grade) completed; and
• Minimum of 16 years of age.

Primary Hours:

Selected candidate needs to be flexible working days, evenings and weekends approximately 20 hours a week. Current need for this position requires availability to work the shift below:

• Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
