Qualifications

• At least 6 months library, clerical or related experience.
• Must complete preservice training.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize library program for detainees.
• Enforce library policies and programs.
• Select and organize library materials for access.
• Review requests and select materials per needs of detainees.
• Coordinate detainees assigned to assist in the library.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Model positive social skills and intervene as needed.
• Maintain accountability of detainees and property.
