Job summary

EmergencyMD in Cortez, CO is hiring a Library Aide I for 24 hours per week, on-site with a rotating Saturday shift.

You’ll assist patrons at the circulation desk, handle cash transactions, support library programs, and help process new materials and interlibrary loans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 1 year related experience, strong communication, computer literacy, Dewey Decimal knowledge, and a valid Colorado driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year related experience (or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build effective working relationships.
• Computer literacy and ability to teach basic computer skills to patrons.
• Ability to learn and apply the Dewey Decimal System.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons at the circulation desk and handle cash transactions.
• Support library programs with setup, facilitation help, and cleanup.
• Process new materials, interlibrary loans, and maintain files/records.
• Use office equipment and standard software to complete tasks.
