Job summary

The Fresno County Public Library is seeking a Librarian III to deliver advanced professional librarian services across adult, young adult, and children's programs, as well as historical programming and community relations. The role is within the San Joaquin Valley Library System division, FCPL's joint network of 10 library systems and 106 branches.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science from an accredited college/university.
• Three years of full-time, paid professional librarian experience.
• One year of experience administering an Integrated Library System (ILS) or related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced professional librarian services in adult, young adult, and children's programs, plus historical programming and public relations.
• Support the San Joaquin Valley Library System division within FCPL and collaborate across library branches.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends, including Sundays, as required.
