Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science and two years experience at a professional level.
• Experience in Adult Reference at a public library or municipal government role in the last five years.
• Knowledge of Library online resources and databases.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Flexible to work in all services of the library with dedicated assignments.
• Position reports to the Librarian III.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding reference and readers’ advisory in-person, by phone, and while roaming the library.
• Assist with some collection development, research, and other duties as assigned.
