Job summary

Glenoaks Schools is seeking a candidate for the 2015-2016 school year to teach Computers, PE, and Library for Glenoaks Christian Elementary School. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology-enhanced instruction and experienced in teaching elementary school students.

Responsibilities include imparting knowledge in physical fitness and health education, as well as organizing library programs that encourage students to become enthusiastic readers and skillful researchers.

Job description

• Computers: The ideal candidate should be comfortable with technology‑enhanced instruction and have experience teaching elementary school students.
• PE: Will teach knowledge and skills in physical fitness and health education that is aligned with California State Standards to elementary students.
• Librarian: Will insure that students are effective users of ideas and information. To empower students to be critical thinkers. The Librarian should be able to organize and encourage students to be enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. To instill a love of learning in all students and ensure equitable access to information.
