Aging in Place is owned and operated by a nurse who understands the true meaning of compassion. The company was founded with the vision of providing the aging community with high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking a caring and dedicated caregiver who is passionate about improving the lives of those they care for and their families.

We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide daily care from Monday to Friday in the morning.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly clients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation
• Assist with mobility around the house
• Prepare and serve meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as needed
• Complete client’s shopping
• Perform cognition exercises with clients
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities essential for daily living and other tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in healthcare or in-home care environment
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate nature
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Take pride in providing high-quality care
• Reliable, dependable, punctual
