Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims handling experience in liability, casualty, or bodily injury claims.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of liability claims handling practices and litigation management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of liability claims adjusters.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to adjusters handling BI, casualty, and liability claims.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ongoing training.
• Assist with staffing, onboarding, and workload distribution.
• Monitor claims handling to ensure compliance with guidelines and service standards.
• Review high‑exposure or complex claims and guide strategy and resolution.
• Approve settlements within authority; ensure proper reserve setting and documentation.
• Serve as contact for clients regarding claim performance and updates.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, vendors, and internal teams for effective resolution.
• Monitor metrics like cycle time, QA results, and SLAs; identify improvements.
