Job summary

Questpro is seeking an experienced Liability Supervisor in Nassau County/Long Island with a hybrid work arrangement. Lead a team of 4–5 liability adjusters and guide complex claims while ensuring quality and compliance with New York regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong New York liability claims experience, solid knowledge of New York Labor Law, an active NY Adjuster license, and a proven ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of approximately 4–5 Liability Adjusters.

• Assist with escalated and high-severity liability claims.

Liability Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Liability Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 4–5 Liability Adjusters. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Lead Liability Adjuster who is ready to take the next step into a formal supervisory role.

The ideal candidate will have strong New York liability claims experience, a solid understanding of New York Labor Law, and the ability to mentor adjusters while overseeing claim quality, strategy, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of approximately 4–5 Liability Adjusters.
• Guide complex liability claims, coverage issues, and claim strategy.
• Review claim files for accuracy, quality, reserves, and appropriate handling.

• Experience working with defense counsel and managing litigation strategy.

• Slip-and-fall claims
• New York Labor Law claims
• Contractor-related claims
• Building, condominium, and co‑op liability
• General accident claims
• Premises liability
• Construction-related liability

Location & Work Arrangement

Candidates based in Long Island, New York City, or New Jersey are encouraged to apply. Remote candidates may also be considered.

The position is hybrid preferred, but the company is willing to be flexible for the right candidate. Initial training will be conducted onsite for several weeks.

Compensation

Target Salary: $90,000 to $150,000

Compensation is negotiable based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, and leadership background.

Ideal Candidate

This role is particularly well suited for a Senior Liability Adjuster or Lead Adjuster who has strong New York claims expertise and is ready to transition into a supervisory position.
