Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Liability Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex General Liability claims and provide expert guidance on coverage disputes. You will collaborate with clients and local counsel to gather information, respond to requests, and resolve claims efficiently in a fully remote environment.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of General liability claims management experience, a strong sense of judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive cases with discretion while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) years of General liability claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex customer claims in general liability, including high-end or disputed cases.
• Respond to plaintiff's counsel, union, employee, or client requests.
• Gathers/documents additional information and coordinates with client designees.
• Requests legal/private investigation and coordinates with local counsel; monitors performance.
• Establishes/adjusts accrued liability and approves administrative expenses.

To address and handle high end Public Entity General Liability cases with serious injuries, complex coverage scenarios and legal inquiries or disputes; seeks legal opinion and early resolution; Gathers/documents additional information and coordinates with client designees.
