Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as a Claims Liability Adjuster you will:

· Initialcontact with insured and claimants to determine coverage and liabilityexposure.

· Determineany injuries involved in the accident and develop the exposure, handling firstcall settlement injury claims and minor injury claims.

· Controlexpenses and adhere to company reserving philosophy by maintaining properreserves on all pending claims/potential exposures.

· Meetand maintain general file handling goals and procedures as outlined by thecompany including maintaining a 1:1 closing ratio and status on diary reviews.

· Properlyutilize underwriting and policy systems and understand its features andfunctionality, as needed.

· Attendany available seminars and classes applicable to this position and the skillsrequired to meet the job duties and responsibilities.

· Continuallyask questions and have a desire to develop additional skills to betterinvestigate and evaluate claims.

· Excellentcommunication skills with demonstrative ease with both verbal and writtenformats.

Required

· Minimumone year experience handling auto claims.

Preferred

· Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent.

· Adjuster’slicense in relevant state or the ability to obtain one quickly.

· Bilingual(English-Spanish).

PhysicalRequirements

· Prolongedperiods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must beable to lift 15 pounds at times.

· Must beable to navigate various departments of the organization's physical premises.
