Join our team at Lia Hyundai Hartford as an Automotive Service Technician - Level B or C. We are part of Lia Auto Group, a respected name in the automotive industry.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, professional, and positive environment. Our service departments are equipped with the latest technology, including service drive alignment checkers, alignment racks, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign-on bonuses may be available based on your skill level and experience.

Compensation

Range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually. Sign-on bonus: N/A.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of Service Technician experience
• Preferred: Hyundai training or certification
• Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repairs
• State Inspection certification required
• ASE Certification recommended
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Willingness to learn new technology and procedures
• Computer skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Valid and clean driver's license

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs efficiently according to dealership processes
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
• Communicate with Service Advisors about additional repairs and estimates
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications
