Job description

Lia Hyundai Albany is seeking a Level A/A+ Automotive Technician to join our team. If you're an experienced technician looking for a fast-paced, professional, environment that rewards hard work, reliability, and teamwork, this is the right place for you!

Our service departments are equipped with the latest technologies, including service drive alignment checkers, alignment racks, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign-on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $60K-$100K+

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5000 available for Hyundai Platinum Certified technicians

Requirements

• 3+ years of Service Technician experience
• Experience with diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
• State Inspection certification
• Hyundai training or certifications
• ASE Certification (recommended)
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
• Computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform repair work efficiently, following dealership processes
2. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
4. Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs and estimates
5. Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
