About the role

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the VP, Market Expansion and Innovation, the Market Director, Performance Excellence is responsible for the growth, maintenance, development, and profitability of the Temp, Perm, or Consulting team(s) within a Market. The role involves developing a cohesive and productive team to sustain growth and expansion.

What you’ll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and coach the team to increase productivity.
  • Hire, train, motivate, develop, and if necessary, terminate team personnel in partnership with TA and Training functions.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership to achieve team and market goals.
  • Manage sales and recruiting efforts.
  • Report team progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Conduct regular staff, client, and business review meetings.
  • Use financial analysis and business planning to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Implement and manage national business strategies.
  • Drive sales strategies, outbound activities, and market share growth.
  • Leverage technology for trend forecasting.
  • Develop team capabilities for new business development and client retention.
  • Oversee Pay/Bill Rate procedures, invoicing, credit, DSO, and collections.
  • Manage expenses and vendor bills.
  • Maintain strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Uphold core values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and integrity.
  • Participate in community and professional organizations.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Office and participate in special projects.
  • Serve as escalation point for portfolio sales opportunities.
About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field is preferred. At least 6 years managing a profit center, 5 years staffing industry experience, and 5 years of successful sales experience are required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with recruiting software.
