Job summary

FreedomCare is seeking a LHCSA Recruitment Specialist to join the LHCSA team and drive high-volume recruitment of Home Health Aides for in-home care across the U.S. This office-based role requires daily commuting to our Jamaica Queens office.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years recruiting home health aides, be bilingual in Spanish/English, and possess strong communication and organizational skills to manage fast-paced hiring needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leverage Home Health Registry to locate eligible HHAs.
• Attend health-care job fairs and host open house events.
• Maintain notes in ATS and coordinate interviews with team members.

This is an officed based position and will require daily commute to our Jamaica Queens office.

Department & Position Overview

The LHCSA Recruitment Specialist plays a crucial role in recruitment and identifying Home Health Aides to join our LHCSA team. The Recruiter focuses on identifying and working with candidates who currently hold a certification as a Home Health Aide. The Recruiter is dedicated to the LHCSA team and understands this unique business unit of FreedomCare and the importance to our patient that we have a strong team of certified Home Health Aides to support our patients in their homes with their licensed home health needs.

Every Day You Will

• Execute high volume, full-cycle recruitment, and onboarding for new staff members within our homecare agency
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and internal policies and procedures
• Follows-up on leads from Health Plans and internal staff
• Leverages Home Health Registry to locate eligible potential HHAs
• Maintain a presence at health-care job fair and create open house events
• Maintain up to date notes in ATS (Applicant Tracking system)
• Coordinate follow up interviews with required team members
• Must be a great problem-solver, be able to work under time-pressure and multi-task while remaining composed
• Must be comfortable with computers, and have ability to learn and operate scheduling and training software systems
• Preference given to those with home health care experience, or who have managed / organized home health care services for a loved one
• Ability to provide emergency backfill on shifts as needed (HHA related work)

Ideal Candidate Will Possess

• Minimum of 2 years experience recruiting home health aides in a similar environment
• Candidate must be Fluent in Spanish (Bilingual Spanish/English)
• High energy, well spoken, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with behavioral based interviewing
• Experience with Applicant Tracking System
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
• Must be able to quickly adapt to change and be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be a great problem-solver, be able to work under time-pressure and multi-task while remaining composed
