Swissport International AG is hiring a Fuel Guide Coordinator for our aviation services network. This role focuses on safety, on-the-job training, and quality activities at the station, aiming to reduce injuries and damages while ensuring expert guidance on processes and procedures.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $21.25, with full-time benefits including health and wellness coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years of ground handling or airline ramp/safety experience.
• Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to research training, safety and quality topics.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and quality audits are conducted, reviewed and closed
• Assists in the development of audit plans for the station
• Conducts and/or assists accident/incident investigations, as required
• Conducts safety and quality audits within the station, as directed
• Conducts safety and quality training within the station, as directed
• Coordinates safety and quality initiatives
• Reviews station employee injury trends and direct corrective action
• Reviews aircraft damage and directs corrective action
• Conducts Risk Assessments as directed
• Coordinates safety promotion initiatives
• Coordinates quality initiatives
• Reviews and coordinates the Quality Management System completeness and ensures that the system is kept current
• Provides station GM with periodic progress reports, audit schedules and assessments of safety and quality programs
• Completes projects/assignments as directed by station GM
• Provide reports to HOA/Region/Station regarding trends, performance, gaps, etc.
• Assist station level training requirements to ensure that all training requirements are satisfactorily met
• Assist/Train/Coordinate as requested by the station GM

Job Summary

Fuel Guide Coordinator is responsible for safety, on the job training and quality activities at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries, aircraft and equipment damages. Additionally, the Fuel Guide Coordinator is responsible for tasks described below as well as being a subject matter expert on various processes/systems/procedures as defined by the Director, Safety/Training

Your activities

• Reviews and coordinates the Quality Management System completeness and ensures that the system is kept current

• Provide reports (as required) to HOA/Region/Station regarding trends, performance, gaps, etc. or other reports as directed

Your profile

• 2 years of ground handling or airline ramp/safety experience
• Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and Strategic Thinker
• Ability to research training, safety and quality topics and make concise direct, cost-effective recommendations for improvement
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, power point as well as company systems
• Knowledge of training, safety and quality programs and procedures.
