Leprino Foods Company in Lemoore, CA is seeking a LEW Maintenance - Valve/Pump Tech to maintain SUDMO and Tri-Clover valves and inspect pumps to prevent downtime. The technician will also change seals, observe GMPs, and follow LOTO policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with line leaders and supervisors, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring valve/pump integrity in the Cheese Department to support continuous production.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in high and tight areas to access all valves.
• Mechanical competence.
• Computer literacy; ability to enter a work order.

LEW Maintenance - Valve/Pump Tech

Location: Lemoore (West), CA USA

Job Title: Line 3 Valve/Pump Tech

Wage Scale: $26.79 (Break in rates and $0.75 differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM)

Hours/Shift: 1st Shift (03:00 - 11:30)

Days Off: Varies

General Summary: Valve / Pump Technician is responsible for maintaining the performance of SUDMO and Tri-Clover valves to prevent valve failures and extraneous from entering the cheese. The Technician will also inspect pumps and change seals and gaskets to prevent downtime and possible extraneous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all department SUDMO and Tri-Clover valves are functioning properly at all times, including all valves in the Cheese Department.
• Maintain a rotation for valves based on frequency of use.
• Open pumps, change seals, and inspect pump condition for proper maintenance.
• Operate consistently with safe operating procedures, including LOTO policies when needed.
• Sign off on valve / Pump inspection programs for the Cheese Departments as needed.
• Communicate with line’s group leader and Supervisor when working on valves that may affect cheese production.
• Perform basic troubleshooting procedures when applicable.
• Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs.
• Communicate between co‑workers, departments, and supervision as required.
• Successfully complete JTPR and consistently perform work according to SOP.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Working Relationships

• Reports to the Maintenance Department Manager or a Supervisor.
• Regular interaction with production and support group supervisors and other plant management.
