Sokol Associates Inc. is recruiting a Legal Counsel – Leveraged Finance in the New York City area to support a major investment bank. You will draft and negotiate financing documents and advise on structuring and regulatory matters for leveraged loans and related financings.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, NY Bar admission, and 3–6 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance or banking law, with Big Law or financial institution exposure. Strong coordination with deal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and NY Bar admission.
• 3–6 years of leveraged finance or banking law experience.

Responsabilités

• Draft and negotiate key financing documents (credit agreements, commitment letters, term sheets).
• Advise deal teams on legal structuring and regulatory considerations.
