Job summary

TrueNorth Wellness is seeking a full-time Level of Care Assessor - Therapist to assist clients with substance use disorders. The role includes completing assessments and providing recommendations for appropriate care levels while maintaining strong communication with clients.

Located in Hanover, York County, the position offers no weekends or holidays, a starting pay rate of $19.38, and a range of benefits including medical, vision, and a 401K plan with company match.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and clearances in accordance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required with experience.
• Willingness to maintain 25 hours of training a year.
• Must have FBI fingerprinting clearance and PA Child abuse clearance.

Job Tasks

• Complete assessments using the ASAM criteria and make recommendations for the appropriate levels of care under the direction of an Outpatient Manager.
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of clients both verbally and in writing. Use motivational interviewing with other treatment modalities to guide clients collaboratively into recovery.
• Provide and track referrals for care.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field required with experience.
• Willingness to maintain 25 hours of training a year in areas that meet health department / SUD licensing requirements.
• Must have FBI fingerprinting clearance, PA Child abuse clearance, PA state police criminal history clearance and 3 credits of Mandated Reporter Training.
