Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. As an RN in NICU you will care for critically ill newborns with a full spectrum of subspecialists, supported by advanced technology and family-centered practice on a 24/7 schedule.

Requires BSN or equivalent, 1 year RN experience, DC/Maryland/Virginia license per location, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience (Required)
• BSN from an approved school of nursing (Preferred)
• Registered Nurse license in DC (or MD/VA depending on location)
• CPR certification (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care for critically ill newborns in a Level IV NICU.
• Participate in rounds and collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, and families.
• Ensure adherence to professional standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support family-centered care and education to families throughout hospital stay.
