Job summary

OL Security LLC is seeking a Part-Time Level III Commissioned Security Officer for the evening shift, Thursday through Sunday. You will be the first line of defense for the facility, conducting pat downs, managing guest behavior, and enforcing rules at Ojos Locos.

Starting pay is $19/hour and up, depending on experience. Responsibilities include screening, reporting incidents, and monitoring premises; three positions exist: check IDs, screen patrons, and patrol areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Security training completed annually.

Responsibilities

• Screen patrons for weapons or illegal substances.
• Report incidents with who, what, why, when, and how; email by shift end.
• Report any use of force to security director by shift end.
• Monitor premises; patrol, deter misconduct, enforce smoking areas.
• Observe parking lot and exterior areas for safety.
• Maintain team safety and assist colleagues as needed.
• Identify and document security key items to protect facility.
• Shifts run 5:00 PM–3:00 AM Thu–Sat and 5:00 PM–1:00 AM Sun–Wed.

Security Officer

OL Security LLC is hiring a Part-Time Level III Commissioned Security Officer for the evening shift, Thursday through Sunday.

As Security, you are Ojos Locos’ first line of defense. We ask that you make it a priority, in addition to securing the facility, pat downs and manage guests demonstrating aggressive behavior and/or behaving in a disruptive, harassing way, possibly breaching the law or the rules of Ojos Locos.

Starting pay: $19/hour and up, depending on experience.

Security Office Job Responsibilities

• Screening patrons (weapons/illegal substances)
• Report incidents identifying who, what, why, when and how. These reports should be emailed to at the end of the shift.
• Any use of force should be reported immediately to the Director of Security and to the above email by end of shift.
• Monitor restaurant premises with walk throughs, make your presence known, check restroom and outdoor exit areas and any other areas of concealment.
• Monitor parking lot from the main door or the immediate area of our facility.
• Make sure no guests are asking in areas that are not designated for smoking.
• Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Monitor coworker activity for safety and assistance when necessary.
• Acknowledge and execute the Security’s Key items to protect Ojos Locos Agreement.
• There are three positions within Security: check ID’s, screen patrons, and monitoring the premises/patrons.

The expected work hours are as scheduled, typically between the hours of 5 pm until 3am Thursday through Saturday and 5pm until 1 am Sunday through Wednesday. You are responsible for clocking in and out during each shift. Failure to do so, may be grounds for discipline, up to and including termination.

Security Office Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• String interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in the field of security
• CPR/first Aid certified
• Continuing educating/training in the field of security completed annually
