Job summary

Xcel NDT, LLC. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Level II NDT Technician responsible for calibrations, testing, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection. You will work under established procedures and ensure accuracy of results.

Responsibilities include radiographic interpretation, setup of equipment, adherence to codes, safety protocols, and collaboration with project teams in the Pasadena area. X-ray experience is mandatory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Details

Job Location: Pasadena - Pasadena, TX 77503, The Level II Trainer will be performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. Level II Technicians are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Level II Technicians are thoroughly familiar with the scope and limits of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians.

This position will support projects in the Pasadena, Beaumont, and Port Arthur Areas.

MUST HAVE X-RAY EXPERIENCE.

Education and Experience

• NDT Level II RT with OJT and state card.
• NDT Level II MT, PT, UTT and PMI Required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections. Knowledge of NDT equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent Requirements.

Complete and pass a DISA Background check.

Complete and pass all required Drug Screens.

Complete and pass site specific safety council.

MUST TEST OUT IN ALL REQUIRED METHODS WITH XCEL.

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Move, carry and lift objects in excess of 50 pounds.
