ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Level II Technician, Splicing, to perform mid-level fiber optic splicing on aerial, underground, and ISP projects nationwide. The role emphasizes safety, customer-centric service, and adherence to the ALL IN culture.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of fiber splicing experience, OSHA 10 certification, and a strong work ethic. A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card are required, with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience performing fiber optic cable splicing projects is required.
• OSHA 10 certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• First-aid and/or CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-level splicing on aerial, underground, and ISP cable routing.
• Read and interpret construction prints, drawings, and splice matrices to meet customer requirements.
• Determine equipment needs, cable route and safety practices for splicing in live customer facilities.
• Independently perform mid-sheath cable entry using proper tools.
• Perform mid-level single and/or ribbon splices with large cable counts.
• Read/test results and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Proficient in mid-level OTDR and power meter testing.
• Assist with installation procedures for splice enclosures.
• Support cable relocations and maintain cable organization.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
