Job summary

Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company seeks a Level 2 Radiographic Testing Technician to perform nondestructive evaluations using digital radiography. You will set up RT equipment, evaluate images, and document results to meet NAS410, ASTM, and customer specs.

The role requires 800 hours RT experience, NAS410 or SNT-TC-1A qualification, and the ability to mentor Level 1 staff while maintaining strict radiation safety compliance. 4x10 schedule with potential overtime in Chandler, AZ.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher in engineering, materials science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 800 hours of RT experience.
• NAS410 or SNT-TC-1A qualification required; site qualification after hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic inspections using DDAs per procedures and sheets.
• Set up and calibrate RT equipment to qualification standards.
• Evaluate radiographs for discontinuities and accept/reject per specs.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain radiographic data traceability.
• Provide guidance to Level 1 personnel and coordinate with Level 3 as needed.
