Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Perform Level II radiographic inspections of materials, components, and structures.
  2. Set up and operate radiographic equipment following safety standards.
  3. Calculate and control radiation areas.
  4. Follow quality control procedures and safety protocols.
  5. Interpret radiographic images to identify flaws.
  6. Document and report inspection results.
  7. Ensure testing procedures meet project requirements.
  8. Manage long-term projects effectively.
  9. Participate in ongoing training to stay current.
  10. Guide and train trainees and assistants.
  11. Perform additional NDE methods like MT, PT, and UTT.
  12. Willingness to travel as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A Level II RT, MT, PT, and UTT methods.
  • Valid State Radiographer or IRRSP card.
  • Manual film processing skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable welding codes (ASME, API, AWS).
  • Experience managing projects as a Level II Radiographer.
  • Educational background.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass MVR evaluations.
  • Background check clearance.
  • Pass drug, alcohol, and fitness tests.
  • Pass Level II testing upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional certifications or documented experience in MT, PT, UT, and RT.
  • Successful completion of company certification processes.
  • High school diploma or higher education.
