Responsibilities
- Perform Level II radiographic inspections of materials, components, and structures.
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment following safety standards.
- Calculate and control radiation areas.
- Follow quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Interpret radiographic images to identify flaws.
- Document and report inspection results.
- Ensure testing procedures meet project requirements.
- Manage long-term projects effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current.
- Guide and train trainees and assistants.
- Perform additional NDE methods like MT, PT, and UTT.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Certification in accordance with SNT-TC-1A Level II RT, MT, PT, and UTT methods.
- Valid State Radiographer or IRRSP card.
- Manual film processing skills.
- Knowledge of applicable welding codes (ASME, API, AWS).
- Experience managing projects as a Level II Radiographer.
- Educational background.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass MVR evaluations.
- Background check clearance.
- Pass drug, alcohol, and fitness tests.
- Pass Level II testing upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications or documented experience in MT, PT, UT, and RT.
- Successful completion of company certification processes.
- High school diploma or higher education.
