Description

General Summary

The Electrical HTT Technician performs electrical heat treatment, typically at extreme temperatures, to achieve desired outcomes such as hardening or softening of materials. This role involves heat treatment of various components across industries like refining, petrochemical, power, and construction, handling small to medium-sized electrical projects, and may include other heat treat methods.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety standards and practices, and alerting others to potential hazards.
  2. Perform assigned duties adhering to TEAM's Core Values and 7 Critical Choices.
  3. Instruct assistants on heat treatment duties.
  4. Set up and complete heat treatment jobs.
  5. Conduct job walks and communicate requirements.
  6. Interface effectively with clients and co-workers.
  7. Ensure timely completion of jobs according to schedule.
  8. Instruct Assistant Technicians on equipment setup, tear-down, and routine maintenance.
  9. Complete calibrations and maintain equipment and facilities.
  10. Oversee project execution and daily maintenance services.
  11. Document and report services provided properly.
  12. Learn and follow heat treat procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Heat Treat experience preferred.
  • Travel requirements: 25% - 50%

Work Conditions

  • Work involves indoor and outdoor environments, tolerating climate changes.
  • Interaction with crew, supervisors, and clients.
  • Work around machinery with extreme noise.
  • Must wear safety equipment as required.
  • May require travel to multiple sites or out of town.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Walk and climb as necessary for duties.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to focus and multitask.
  • Wear safety gear as required.
  • Mobility to access various environments, including elevated platforms.

Additional Job Description

Compensation ranges from $72,000 to $93,000 annually plus benefits. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location. Disclosures are made as required by law.
