Required Knowledge & Skills

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: Two years of related experience, with knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
• Licenses and Certifications: Driver's License, Healthcare Provider CPR

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Public Safety (Law Enforcement, Corrections, Fire Service, EMS), Healthcare Security, Military, or Private Security
• Ability to legally drive in Georgia and be insurable
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Weapons Carry License
• Subject to background check and psychological exam
• Completion of training within 90 days: IAHSS Advanced, BLS CPR, SCIPP, CEW body camera use, and Tanner firearms training
• Must maintain firearms proficiency and pass annual department competencies
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently under stress
• Computer and report-writing skills
• English proficiency
• Problem-solving and judgment skills
• One year of experience with IAHSS Advanced Certification preferred
