Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a board-certified MD to provide 24-hour trauma call coverage at a Level I Trauma Center in Arizona. The assignment is inpatient with NP/PA support to assist during coverage periods.

The clinician will respond to trauma activations, manage acute surgical cases, and work within an acute care surgery program. Dates needed: Oct 2026–Feb 2027; 24-hour on-site coverage required.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• 2+ years trauma surgery experience preferred.
• Willing to provide 24-hour call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for trauma activations in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Deliver care for critically injured surgical patients in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with NP/PA support staff during coverage periods.
