Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Process parts utilizing both chemical and manual cleaning methods.
  2. Perform receiving, processing, wiping, scrubbing, masking, chemical processing, machine operating, etching, blasting, coating, drying, baking, and other processes, as needed.
  3. Follow all SOPs, Lean manufacturing processes, company policies, and practices.
  4. Complete training on assigned processes.
  5. Perform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area.
  6. Attend monthly safety meetings and training programs.
  7. Handle hazardous chemicals correctly and safely. Follow all policies and directions for safe use of and proper disposal of hazardous chemicals.
  8. Participate and adhere to safety programs and complete various training modules.
  9. Organize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and report on task completion.
  10. Maintain high safety and environmental awareness through safe work habits.
  11. Seek to advance skills and learn new processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Handle repetitive work with quick turnaround, including masking, wiping, and processing parts.
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  4. Flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.
  5. Ability to wear gowning: hairnet and frock.
  6. High safety and environmental awareness, practicing safe work habits and 6S.
  7. Ability to take SPC measurements and log data.
Educational/Certification:
  1. High School Diploma/GED or related field preferred.
  2. AA degree in a technical field or some college preferred.
Experience Requirement:
  1. 1-year experience in manufacturing processes or materials.
  2. 3+ years of hands-on experience preferred.
  3. Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies is desired.
  4. Kaizen or Lean training is a plus.
  5. Media blast experience.
  6. Quality Assurance experience.
  7. Experience in the parts cleaning industry is a plus.
  8. High-Tech or Semiconductor experience.
Work Environment:

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, grasp.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Work with hazardous chemicals daily.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Read and comprehend directions.
  • Hear and speak to communicate; accommodations available for emergency alerts.
Environmental Exposure:
  • Wear PPE as applicable.
  • Subject to interruptions.
  • Possible exposure to moderate noise levels.
Overnight Travel:
  • May require out-of-town travel for training and meetings.
