WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

POSITION SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment to accurately store, ship, and receive products, ensuring safety, security, and productivity standards are met.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Operate Jungheinrich wire-guided Stock Picker Forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
2. Move products to designated locations and outbound staging areas for shipment.
3. Put away, replenish, and pick orders accurately; assemble products for shipment, ensuring correctness and damage-free packaging.
4. Utilize voice pick and/or radio frequency equipment for picking, processing, and loading tasks.
5. Perform daily equipment inspections and document findings using the GEMOne System.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient picking.
7. Support additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Availability to work 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) with potential overtime.
• Effective communication skills in English, with basic math and reading abilities.
• Familiarity with voice picking and RF equipment preferred.
• Willingness to learn processing functions and support DC operations, including truck loading.
• High accuracy, initiative, dependability, and good attendance.
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good visual acuity, depth perception, peripheral vision, and hearing (correctable if needed).
• Ability to pass OSHA-approved Jungheinrich equipment certification.
• Ability to tolerate heat, cold, dust, noise, vibrations; stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• No disciplinary warnings on file.
