Level 3 Security Officer - ARMED School Campus Officer

We are seeking professional LEVEL 3 Commissioned Officers for SRO positions. Candidates must be strong and reliable.

Job Description:

Staffing for School Resource Officer (SRO) positions. Looking for strong candidates with the right qualifications and attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be professional in demeanor and appearance.
2. Must hold a current Level III license issued from TX DPS PSB (pocket guard card in hand).
3. Valid driver's license required.
4. High School diploma or equivalent.
5. Reliable transportation and a working phone.
6. Ability to safely handle and operate firearms.
7. Ability to handle physical workload and stand/walk for extended periods.
8. Strong attention to detail and good work ethics.
9. Ability to pass a physical fitness assessment and background check.
10. Must be at least 21 years old.
11. No felony convictions within the last ten years.
12. No Class A misdemeanor convictions within the last five years.
13. No Class B misdemeanor convictions within the last two years.
14. No family violence convictions.
15. Cannot be on deferred adjudication for any felony or misdemeanor.

Candidates must have their own duty gear and firearm (service-type weapons such as Glock, Sig Sauer, H&K, Smith & Wesson M&P, 9mm, .40 cal, .45 ACP, etc.).

Additional requirements include:

• Ability to obtain and wear a duty belt and OD green tactical pants.
• Physical ability to walk/stand for the duration of shifts.
• Good physical health and grooming.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing with good grammar skills.

Consideration Factors:

• Prior or current military/law enforcement experience.
• Exceptional weapon handling and accuracy.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, exposed to weather, and perform activities like walking, running, climbing, crawling, sitting, or standing for long periods.
• Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work well with diverse groups and demonstrate professionalism.
