Job description

Title: RN - Endo

Location: Geneva NY 14456

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: 6:30am/7:30am-3:30pm/4:30pm (4-day x 9hr/day contracts) with D/N/W/H rotation and full call rotation (see below for details)

Shift Details

Shifts start at 6:30AM (Pre-Op Endo), 7AM (Circulator/Tech Endo), or 7:30AM (Post-Op Endo), depending on assigned role for the day. Shift start times range from 6:30-7:30AM.

36 hours per week plus call (1-hour response time). Call rotation includes two full weekends and one weekday per month, with no weekends or holidays except for scheduled call.

Complete Description

6-8 days of call per month, including at least one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Response time for Endo RN is 1 hour.

The Registered Nurse applies nursing knowledge, technical skills, and communication skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans with the interdisciplinary team, providing direct care, evaluating patient progress, and coordinating care throughout the episode. The Endo RN develops specialized skills in caring for patients admitted for medical conditions, serving adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.

The Endo RN is responsible for patient and family education to support understanding of self-care post-hospitalization, including lifestyle modifications. The RN promotes comfort and emotional support in a healing environment.
