Job description

Title: RN - Endo

Location: Geneva NY 14456

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: 6:30am/7:30am-15:30/16:30 (4-day x 9hr/day contracts) with D/N/W/H rotation and full call rotation (see below for details)

Shift Details: SHIFTS START 6:30AM (PRE-OP ENDO), 7AM (CIRCULATOR/TECH ENDO), OR 7:30AM (POST OP ENDO), DEPENDING ON ASSIGNED ROLE FOR THE DAY (SHIFT START TIME 6:30-7:30AM)

Work Schedule: 36 Hours per week PLUS CALL (1-hour response time). Call rotation includes two full weekends and one weekday/week. NO weekends or holidays except for scheduled call.

Responsibilities: The RN applies nursing knowledge, technical skills, and communication skills to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, providing direct care, evaluating progress, and coordinating care. The RN develops specialized skills in endoscopy patient care, providing care to adults, adolescents, and geriatrics with medical conditions, and educating patients and families about self-care and lifestyle changes.

• NYS RN Licensure (Required)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Endoscopy as a Registered Nurse (Required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (Required)

Additional Information:

• Must have worked at FLH locations in the last two years or willing to float between departments and locations.
• Must be willing to respond within 1 hour for call.
• Must have or be willing to get Covid and Flu vaccines.
