Job summary

Caring Kindergartens Ltd. seeks a dedicated early years practitioner. You will work as part of a collaborative nursery team, build strong relationships with children and families, and support their progress using EYFS guidelines.

Required qualifications include a Level 3 childcare certificate and DBS clearance. You will engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
• Excellent understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
• DBS check cleared or in progress.
• Previous childcare experience in an early year setting.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing and recording progress.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend children’s thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver play experiences promoting physical, cognitive and emotional development.
• Ensure activities align with children’s next steps and interests within EYFS.
• Support each child’s self-esteem, confidence, and sense of competence.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour towards children and families.
