Job summary

Certified Aviation Services, LLC is seeking experienced Level 3 A&P Line Maintenance Technicians for our Birmingham, Alabama overnight line team. FAA certificated A&P required with 10+ years’ aircraft maintenance, including 3+ years in line maintenance; you will use your own tools and maintain accurate maintenance records.

You will read AMMs and procedures, troubleshoot quickly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with supervisors and other teams, including

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • 10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in line maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Must provide, maintain and use own professional aircraft maintenance tools.
  • Ability to read AMMs and other technical manuals.
  • Ability to document maintenance tasks accurately and timely.
  • Must be dependable, safety-focused and able to work in a time-sensitive line environment.
  • Willingness to work overnight/RON shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Perform safe, efficient and timely aircraft maintenance during overnight operations.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies and perform corrective maintenance.
  • Accurately complete aircraft maintenance records and documentation.
  • Interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and technical data.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams as required.

These positions will support a dedicated RON (Remain Overnight) Line Maintenance Team responsible for performing safe, efficient, and timely aircraft maintenance during overnight operations.The ideal candidate will be an experienced FAA-certificated A&P technician with strong line maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced aviation environment.FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including a minimum of 3 years of dedicated line maintenance experience.Strong working knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.Must provide, maintain, and properly use their own professional aircraft maintenance tools.Ability to effectively navigate and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs), maintenance publications, technical manuals, and other approved technical data.Ability to accurately complete assigned maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable procedures and technical requirements.Ability to complete aircraft maintenance records and associated documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety and quality.Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other operational teams.Ability to troubleshoot aircraft discrepancies and perform corrective maintenance efficiently.Must be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working in a time-sensitive line maintenance environment.Must be available to work overnight/RON shifts, including weekends and holidays.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for experienced A&P professionals who take pride in their workmanship, understand the importance of accurate maintenance documentation, and can confidently perform line maintenance in an overnight operational environment.Location: Birmingham, AlabamaShift: Overnight/RON Line MaintenanceA&P Certification: Required
