Job summary

Morrie’s Minnetonka Ford in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a full-time automotive technician. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension and brake systems, and perform tests to ensure safety and reliability of vehicles.

You will use diagnostic equipment and hand tools, document vehicle damage estimates, and contribute to a high-quality maintenance workflow. Prior experience preferred; a clean driving record is required, with opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension and brake systems.
• Test systems and components to ensure proper operation.
• Follow checklists to inspect critical vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems with engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and related systems.
• Test to ensure systems are secure and functioning properly.
• Drive the vehicle for testing or use diagnostic equipment for tuning and verification.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnostics and repairs.
• Follow checklists to inspect all critical parts of the vehicle.
